If lip-gloss can cover smoked lips,
And a lotion can hide a scar
Then, why is there a quest for more tips?
When things at hand helped thus far
In conceal, we live our petty lives
In veil, we keep our pretty wives
Then, yet why is there unrest?
When things in veil are considered best
Ain't this thought called hypocrisy?
Well, a few surely call it sycophancy
Whatever it is called, does it matter?
When in veils we are happy
And when we encounter truth, we do falter
And a lotion can hide a scar
Then, why is there a quest for more tips?
When things at hand helped thus far
In conceal, we live our petty lives
In veil, we keep our pretty wives
Then, yet why is there unrest?
When things in veil are considered best
Ain't this thought called hypocrisy?
Well, a few surely call it sycophancy
Whatever it is called, does it matter?
When in veils we are happy
And when we encounter truth, we do falter
