Searching words to write a song
That was pending since long
Lying in wait, to overcome the wail
I am still to begin the sail
To the ocean of feelings
And explore mysterious things
Of a beggar who sings well but shall never be heard
Of a beauty in a corner who is always looked
Of a woman who has a moustache and slight beard
Of a man, who walks straight but is always crooked
I found them all, in my way
But I had no song, so to say
I gave up my trip and walked back
Receding steps filled my life’s track
That was pending since long
Lying in wait, to overcome the wail
I am still to begin the sail
To the ocean of feelings
And explore mysterious things
Of a beggar who sings well but shall never be heard
Of a beauty in a corner who is always looked
Of a woman who has a moustache and slight beard
Of a man, who walks straight but is always crooked
I found them all, in my way
But I had no song, so to say
I gave up my trip and walked back
Receding steps filled my life’s track
Beautiful poem. Full of feelings.
