GIRL'S GAIT


A girl walking in the sun
Glowing is her skin
It is by the riverside
She walks river akin
On the bank, I reside
Penning her nonchalant walk
A gait to be discussed in every talk
Luck is all mine, should I say?
For giving a loner, moments of gay
I wanted to thank her but could not move
as I lay there, to see her walk away
