SIXTY-NINE

When I am sixty-nine
Will you say I am yours?
And you are mine
As the days pass to seventy
Will you love me in plenty?
And make love more gently
As the nights come down
A year passes to seventy-one
Will you marry me again?
As you did at twenty-one
At seventy-two will you make it true?
My one last wish to die in my home
Oh. I hope you know my home
Or should I say? It is your arms

***Inspired by the Beatles Song, WHEN I AM SIXTY-FOUR
